Over 110 athletes, out of 387, have been banned from the 2016 Russian olympic team for doping. A report from the World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) in July said there was Russian state initiated doping at the Sochi Winter Olympics, among other events. Vladimir Putin has criticised the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), accusing it of discrimination
